About Admission Guidelines

At CIDT , we offer Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Graduation and Post-Graduation courses in Fashion/ Textile / Jewellery and Interior Design. Our courses are recognized by UGC as per Sec. 2f of the UGC Act 1956 and approved by the Government of India. We also have a tie-up with IGI (International Gemological Institute) offering a short-term Jewellery Designing course.

The eligibility for Undergraduate courses is 10+2 pattern of examination. The criteria for admission in Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses are done as per the eligibility requirements and Aptitude tests.

Admissions of students will also be based on the Personal Interviews held at our college campus at CIDT.

Candidates may apply for the Prospectus form after Admission dates have been announced, Application forms may be obtained from CIDT or may apply online through our website.

Candidates eligible for admission will be required to attend the counselling session on a specified date and time at CIDT Campus. All Candidates who will be notified through mail/post or published on the website are compulsorily required to attend counselling sessions on the date and time notified.

Candidate must bring all the necessary certificates/documents mentioned below (in original along with an attested photocopy of each) and bank drafts of requisite fees drawn in favor of CIDT (Bank account name will come here) at the time of counselling:

  • Certificate of 10th class for confirmation of date of birth.
  • Certificate of 12th class
  • Certificate/Degree and Mark-sheet of qualifying examination or any other eligibility certificate as mentioned in the prospectus.
  • Leaving Certificate
  • One passport size photo

During the counselling process, the documents presented will be verified with originals and original documents will be returned back to the candidates.

If a candidate does not pay the required course fees, the admission of such a candidate will stand cancelled.

If a candidate does not report within 30 days after the notification is sent to join the program offered, the admission of such candidate will stand cancelled without any intimation and the tuition fee paid shall be forfeited.

The medium of instruction in CIDT is English and all aspirants applying to CIDT Programs must possess working knowledge of English Language.
